There is a manufacturer’s warranty for the Composite Decking of 10 years against UV fading.
Yes! You are not required to treat the Composite Deck like you would for regular decking. You will just need to give the Deck a regular brush to clear any debris and ensure any spillages are cleaned up quickly. You can also use a mild household detergent once / twice a year.
Yes! Due to the combination of wood and plastic, the Composite will give you a much longer lifespan than traditional wooden decking.
Never say never! You can install Composite Decking yourself, but we do recommend to use an installer to ensure a professional finish. When installing the Composite Decking you need to ensure the spacing is correct to account for expansion and contraction in hot and cold weather.
Composite Decking will be a larger investment than traditional wooden decking. But once you have compared the lifespan, maintenance, rotting & quality of Composite compared to wood you are assured to save money, time and energy in the long run.
